Progressive News Weekly - 01/06/10

Download | Duration: 00:00:00

We pick up from last week bringing in the new year on a positive spiritual note.  "Getting the most out of, and tapping, our spiritual resources." We will be joined by Jim Powell, metaphysic, to continue the discussion of the universal laws that apply to all of us and how we can utilize them for our well being.  Also as always, tune in and share what's on your mind.

10:00 AM, The Progressive News team -Commentary/editorial on current issues, special guest Gretchen Dubeau - Executive Director - Alliance for Natural Health (formerly American Association for Health Freedom) with a very important announcement); also calls to action, and your voices.

10:18 AM, James Renford Powell - Philosopher, author, publisher.

James (Jim) was trained in the ministry during the Vietnam War and served as a missionary there.  Afterward having seen various dichotomies of life, he, in search of a higher plane of understanding, remained overseas for 20 years traveling, living, and studying various religions in Europe, the middle east, and Asia/Far East.  Upon returning to the U.S., Jim having authored 13 books, founded the Institute of Applied Metaphysics (IAM) in an attempt to provide guidance and insight to what he calls the 13 universal laws of existence (life), which thread every belief and thought.

Join in as we continue from last week this enlightening discussion of how universal laws relate to religion, well being, and life, and how you can use this information for better inner harmony, personal fulfillment, enlightenment and understanding of the occurrences in our world.

With the increasing onslaught and the degradation of the fabric in our society such as violence in our communities, global wars, virulent viruses (and subsequent dangerous vaccines being mandated), perversion in mass media, and economic turmoil, this is an opportunity to gain tools, from a respected critical thinker, which could help us cope with (and possibly help change) our situation applying to all religious beliefs.
